TOPSOCCER PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Sporting  Gainesville Soccer TOPSoccer Program is a FREE soccer league for players with special needs.

The league is focused on friendship and fun for players with special needs. Volunteer coaches (called “buddies”) often outnumber players 3 to 1 as they work on skills, games and just being social.

Funded in part by a generous sponsorship from UF Health, the GNV TOPSoccer league is completely free of charge for all participants.

PROGRAM MISSION STATEMENT

US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, who has a mental or physical disability. The goal of the program is to enable the thousands of young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the US Youth Soccer family.

TOPSoccer creates a fun, adaptive environment for players 4 to 21 years old. Programs are geared toward player development rather than competition. Athletes learn skills and have fun!

There are two TOPSoccer seasons every year; one in the spring and one in the fall.

Boys and Girls

Players with a mental or physical disability.

COST

Play is free for all participants.

TOPSoccer is open to players with special needs of all ages. Participation is completely free of charge!

Registration for the Spring 2025 season is closed. We will see you back for the Fall 2025 Season. Registration will be available this summer!
